O’s Notes: Pianist Antonio Loureiro leads an ensemble in various configurations from a duo to nonet. Most of the songs are done in smaller formats. Loureiro also plays vibes, drums and sings. The title track includes vibraphone and bandoneon, for a soothing Latin groove, one that is pervasive throughout Só. “Luz da Terra” is infused with rich vocal harmonies, one of the best in a superb session.
