O’s Notes: The San Francisco Bay Area has long embraced festive Latin music. Salsa De La Bahia is a collection of Salsa and Latin Jazz from the areas best local musicians. While they may not be nationally known, rest assured they are more than capable of delivering the goods! There are cool vocal harmonies, punctuated brass and the requisite percussion that makes this true to the title. The collection comes on two discs with an informative booklet making a nice package.
