O’s Notes: This is a collection of Brazilian tunes with some bluegrass/boogie-woogie influence. The sense of calm that is associated with bossa nova dominates the landscape and that is a good thing! The lineup of musicians are some of Brazil’s best including Hamilton de Holanda (g), Mario Adnet (g, vocals), Jovino Santos Neto (p), Zé Luiz Maia (b) and vocalist Roberta Sa. The music is plentiful, relaxing and most enjoyable front start to finish including peaceful harmonized vocals and excellent instrumentation.
