O’s Notes: Smooth jazz saxophonist Michael Lington has locked onto the successful formula for top ten recognition: get a good song list, invite guests to vary the program, include a couple of vocal tracks and add LOTS of groove. “Some Kinda Way” is a soulful vocal track featuring Sy Smith. We also enjoyed “Midnight Drive” and“ “Wooh” with guitarist Ray Parker, Jr. Brian Culbertson (sax), Taylor Dayne (vocals) and Booker T. Jones also make notable guest appearances making Second Nature a winner.
