O’s Notes: The Old Jazz Band is the mainstay at the Peace Hotel in Shanghai, China. They’ve played classic jazz there since 1980! The musicians have an average age of 76 years old but they are still vibrant. I caught them live this past January and recommend the experience to visiting jazz fans.
