O’s Notes: Oslo’s chamber folk trio Slagr plays music that is transcendental in many respects pulling you in and allowing deep reflection. The trio is Sigrun Eng (cello), Anne Hytta (hardanger fiddle) and Amund Sj¿lie Sveen (vibraphone + tuned glasses). Their latest release Short Stories is inspired by Norwegian author Hans Herbj¿rnsrud’s On an Old Farmstead In Europe. It speaks of peace and tranquility, a suitable backdrop for relaxation.
