O’s Notes: Carol Duboc (vocals) collaborated with Jeff Lorber (keyboards, g) to produce and compose these ten contemporary ballads. The all-star band includes bassists Jimmy Haslip and Brian Bromberg, Hubert Laws (fl), Luis Conte (perc), Michael Thompson (g) and drummer Vinnie Colaluta. It is no surprise that the music is good with Duboc adding smooth lyrics on top.
