O’s Notes: Turkish vocalist Meltem Ege splits time between Los Angeles and Istanbul. Solitude is her latest release with four songs from each location. The musicians are locals except flautist Saroyan Özçağatay who plays on one song is each location. “Anlayana”, “We Must Not Say Yes” featuring vocalist Theo Blackman, the swinging “Aklinda Kalmasin” with solos across the band, and “Seninle Dans” are favorites.
