O’s Notes: Tenor saxophonist Jeff Hackworth fronts a quartet with guitarist Ed Cherry, Radam Schwartz on the B3 and drummer Vince Ector. They play nine selections, a mix of originals and covers. Things are popping on the opening title track before Jeff waxes romance on “Autumn Nocturne”. We also enjoyed “Blues In A Few” and “Under A Strayhorn Sky” in a well-balanced session.
