O’s Notes: David (g) leads a quartet with John Stenger (p), Paul Gehman (b) and Dan Monaghan (d). Each of them shines during the session. Joel wrote all nine tunes. It is mostly soft fusion with a pleasing peaceful ring. But there are a couple of tunes like “Other Side of The Sun” that have more rock-fusion character. David does a fine job dancing across the strings on “As It May End” showing his versatility and a balanced effort.
