O’s Notes: Pianist Noah Haidu is back with a third release of Standards III. He plays in multiple trio configurations; the primary unit includes Gervis Myles (b) and Charles Gould (d). Buster Williams (b) and Billy Hart (d join Noah for a few songs notably “Things Aren’t What They Used To Be”. We also enjoyed the relaxing “Alone Together”. The lone quartet selection is a burner, “Slipstream” with Peter Washington (b), Lewis Nash (d) and Steve Wilson (a-sax).
