O’s Notes: Gato Libre is Natsuki Tamura’s new band. The warmth of his trumpet is fused with guitar (Kazuhiko Tsumura), bass (Norikatsu Koreyasu) and accordion (Satoko Fujii) to create a rather soothing soundscape on Strange Village. While there is a lot of creativity in this free fusion style, it is composed well enough to be accessible to a wide audience and will definitely assist in stress relief. There is nothing strange about that!
