O’s Notes: Bernie was a pioneer with electronic keyboard & synthesizers with the P-Funk crew during the early 1970s. He didn’t just play but extracted some of the best sounds from the keyboards that added soul, color and dimension to the bands he played with. This DVD is a documentary of his life. He danced to a different drummer in his own space. Remember the wild moog sounds on the Funkadelics’ “Flashlight”. He brought happiness to the band when he joined the Talking Heads. Worrell wrote countless hits but unfortunately has no rights to them as they are being sampled today! Yes, he was a musical genius but not yet recognized for his genius and musical contributions to pop, rock and funk. The bonus interviews tell the best story.
