O’s Notes: Grant is an old school, soul singer with a beautiful mezzo-soprano and tons of controlled passion. Joyce sings classic ballads with a timeless, traditional style. Her deep warm voicings are meaningful and relaxed. She opens with the often recorded “Cry Me A River” and makes it her own followed by seven more standards. We especially enjoyed “My Baby Just Cares For Me”. You can catch her performing live in The Bay Area.
