O’s Notes: Actor and jazz vocalist Patrick Barnitt starred as “The Crooner” in the musical “Shag with a Twist”. He performs in the greater Los Angeles area and stars here on Sway, his latest recording in front of a tight knit orchestra. Barnitt sings mostly romantic ballads but infused a taste of Latin on the title track, some pop on “Does Anybody Know What Time It Is”, and even some rockin’ “ACL Blues”. There’s a lot of variety to make this a very entertaining session.
