O’s Notes: Argentine pianist Antonio Gavrila salutes Astor Piazzolla on Tango Suite Buenos Aires. He gets support from three tango veterans, Walther Castro on bandoneon, guitarist Quique Sinesi, and Horacio “Mono” Hurtado on bass. Together they capture the full essence of tango. We liked the four-part “Tango Suite” that was packed with bounce and emotion, the racy “Michelangelo 70”, and “Intrduccion Al Angel” in a very compelling performance.
