O’s Notes: Japanese free jazz artist Taiko Saito plays marimba & vibraphone appearing in a solo performance on Tears of a Cloud, his latest endeavor. We liked the intricacies of “Sound Gradation”, the eerie “Underground”, and the subtle energy of “Angry Bee”. It’s a convoluted, dynamic encounter that is very engaging!
