His latest recording, That Place features the return of “The Panthers Woman”, a black goddess who controlled the dance floor! It’s the stories in the lyrics in front of enticing R&B grooves that make this plausible. Frazier’s harmonized vocals on several tracks notably “Everything You Got To Live” and “It Gets Back To You” are strong. There’s a cool Latin vibe on “Mucho Caliente” and “Mi Corazon, both instrumentals featuring Mamiko Watanbe (p), Nori Naroka (b), and Frazier (perc).
