O’s Notes: Ohm! is guitarist Dan Bruce’s trio with Jordan McBride (b), and Gabe Jones (d, electronics). They play an eclectic blend of funk, rock, and jazz-fusion. The Architects is their debut album. We liked “Eh”, “Ice”, with vocal shadowing from Nadine Douds, and “Rare Birds” featuring trombonist Reggie Watkins.
