O’s Notes: Ivo has an incredible amount of energy and passion and he presents that to us through his sax.“Volume 6“in“The Art of the Improv Trio finds Perelman supported by bassist Joe Morris and Gerald Cleaver on drums. There is a wide dynamic range and varied pace but Ivo dominates the conversation and he has a lot to say. He speaks volumes, but we’d like to hear a bit more from his talented team!
