O’s Notes: This is a collection featuring the best cuts form Slide of Hand and Slide Zone, two of Roy’s favorite releases during the 1990’s. Roger’s plays guitar, sings pop blues and writes all of his music. His signature includes a mastery of the slide guitar. The rest of his band is strong especially when guest artists like Bela Fleck (banjo), Allan Toussaint (p) and Norton Buffalo (harmonica) join the action. There are a lot of good tunes here including “Livin’ On Borrowed Time” with Chuck Musselwhite (harmonica). Whether or not this falls into your bailiwick, you can appreciate what these Roy has to say and play!
