O’s Notes: Leo Tardin is the keyboard wizard behind Grand Pianoramax. Drum duty is handled by Deantoni Parks. Leo wrote all of the music and shares arranging with producer Michele Locatelli. There are spoken words/rap on four of the eight tracks and the music is heavily syncopated all the way through. Our favorites are “Showdown” with Mike Ladd and “The Hook” with Spleen & Celena Glenn splitting duty on the mic and Adam Deitch substituting on drums. The beats are fierce and some of the lyrics include profanity making this one well suited for the clubs.
