O’s Notes: The quartet features Bobby Bradford (cornet, percussion) matched with Halley’s (sax, percussion) normal partners Clyde Reed (b) and Dave Storrs (d, percussion). They assembled this work for the Creative Music Guild’s concert series. It is spontaneous interaction, a jam session sparked by lots of talent and mutual respect. The songs have space for the musicians to stretch out and for the listener to appreciate their imagination.
