O’s Notes: We were through several tracks before we realized this was Holiday music! That’s a true testament to the jazz transformation of these classics by pianist Rex Bell and producer Eric Chesher (orchestration, synth). The blues take on “Santa Baby” with Dave Rogers’ drum solo stands out, as does “I’ll Be Home For Christmas”.
