O’s Notes: This is bassist Moore’s second album featuring his trio including Ken Peplowski (Clarinet, Sax) and drummer Tom Melito. The format allows enough space for the instruments to bloom,… and yes they do! The music is a series of dedications to jazz forebears like Brubeck, Jobim and Bill Evans. Michael does it with both standards and originals. A good swinging set.
