O’s Notes: Drummer Oliver Jackson’s amiable character extended to his music style, complementing the other musicians and holding the band tight. His swinging beats and seamless changes work on Dixie, jumpin’, bouncy and walkin’ rhythms as well as on subtle ballads. Although 60 years old at this live session, he plays with the energy of a 20 year old!
