O’s Notes: Pianist Dave Miller leads a trio with bassist Andrew Higgins and Bill Belasco on drums. He has performed behind his daughter, jazz singer Rebecca DuMaine and also practices law in San Francisco! His latest release bids ado to the pandemic suggesting The Mask-erade Is Over. Please let this be true. It is a bouncy, bubbling set from start to finish with mostly covers of classic tunes. “Yardbird Suite”, “Estate” and “Dusty”, a Miller original, are among the best in the 14-song set.
