O’s Notes: Kenny plays guitar but this is much more than a guitar set. Tom Ranier does a fine job on the keys as does bassist Tony Dumas keeping the beat. They perform “Lil Darlin'” as a quintet with Burrell reminding us that he’s still vital here and with a solo performance of “A Single Petal of A Rose”. Justo Almario (sax, fl) shines on “Listen to The Dawn”. Barbara Morrison add vocals on three selections namely “Things Ain’t What They Used To Be” rounding out a sharp session.
