O’s Notes: Crooner Matt Barber performs in front of trio with Brian Ward (b), Greg Sadler (d), and the late pianist, arranger Bradley Young. They play eleven warm standards and one original with many guest artists embellishing the effort. Tony Guerrero adds flugelhorn on “East Of The Sun” with Stephan Oberhoff adding strings and guitar. Mack Goldsberry (sax, piccolo) accentuates three selections notably “Love Like You”. Day Kelly stands in on piano and soprano sax on “Moments In Time”, a collaboration with Barber. The album is dedicated to Young.
