O’s Notes: Stephan Micus is a German musician who has been fascinated with the vast musical cultures around the world and many of the traditional instruments he’s uncovered in his journeys. Thunder is a symphonic recording complete with lots of percussion, kettle drums, brass, and other old-world instrumentation. Much of the music has old-world sound and occasional chants as well. All the music and voices were composed and performed by Micus!
