O’s Notes: Tiger Tail is the debut recording for saxophonist, composer Evan Drybread. He teams up with Christopher Pitts (p), Scott Panera (b) and Kenny Phelps (d) for most of the music. They all shine on the title track. Trumpeter Mark Buselli steps in on four selections adding warm melodies and warm harmonies with Drybread. We enjoyed the funky beat on “Woodruff Place Town Hall” and the sweet harmonies on “Blackball”.
