She teams up with veteran bassist Mike Richmond for ‘Tis Autumn, a collection of ten classics that glimmer in these renditions. Richmond plays two seasoned instruments, a 170-year-old Tyrolean bass and a 120-year-old Czechoslovakian cello with fine precision. Mike’s bass work and arrangements are a perfect match for Elkins vocals leading to a delightfully, well-recorded session.
