O’s Notes: Vocalist ‘Sweet Lu’ Olutosin pays tribute to some of the sometimes forgotten but still great jazz artists and their music. He spans a wide variety of material including a crafty arrangement of “Parker’s Mood”. Other highlights are Michael Frank’s “Baseball”, “Afro Blue and, “All Blues”. Winford Gaylor shadows on sax with Louis Heriveax tickling the ivory. It is an entertaining club set.
