O’s Notes: Vocals come from guitarist/keyboardist Chris Tapp. Brian Mullins plays drums and percussion with Bryce Klueh on bass. They are The Cold Stares. The stories are living blues with all the associated joy and pain, professed on top of a grungy rock fusion featuring Tapp with Klueh mirroring his moves. Highlights are “Nothing But the Blues”, “Got No Right”, and a more relaxed pace on “The Joy”.
