O’s Notes: Knoodle plays trumpet and Anansi is his working band. He draws on his experiences playing all types of music, from classical to jazzy hip hop to make Wending, a creative extension of ideas based on feelings and inspirations, primarily from the legendary Miles Davis. The results are sometimes structured as on “No Before Like More” but generally spontaneous free form. The Blaumlein Technique was used for recording and it creates an intimate stereo effect to this inspiration.
