O’s Notes: Alex sings, plays flute, and composed all of the music on her latest release, What If? Producer José Luiz Martins (keyboards, synths) electrifies the sounds of nature on “Surface Unknown” and “Meditation On The Wind” but this is mostly laid back, almost sedative, airy music. Highlights are “The Journey” featuring drummer Chase Elodia, and “November 3rd” surfacing the beauty of Hamburger’s flute.
