O’s Notes: Julian Shore plays piano and Wurlitzer leading a band, primarily a quintet through ten mostly original compositions for his latest release. Which Way Now? includes soft peaceful compositions like the title track and “Lullaby”; warm mid tempo tracks like “Back Home” featuring Dana Stephens (tenor sax); and the upbeat cover of “Con Alma”. Alexa Barchini and Michael Mayo add vocals on “Alpine”, the lone non-instrumental selection rounding out a balanced and enjoyable session.
