O’s Notes: White Rocket is Greg Felton (p), Sean Carpio (d) and Jacob Wick (t), an uncommon trio grouping. They compose and perform nine songs that stretch the imagination. We liked Wick’s contributions especially on “Susan Styra” and “Lonely Toad”. They paid a lot of attention to the recording process and it paid off. The sound quality is great. The music is different but once you engage it can be rewarding.
