O’s Notes: Pianist Adam Glaser assembles a trio with bassist Pete Coco and drummer Chris Smith for his latest release Wide Awake. Glaser composed most of the music and it is upbeat, modern jazz tunes. There’s a cool vibe on “Sacrificial Rhumba” with heavy syncopation. That contrasts with the bouncy vibe on “Day Trip to Cologne”.
