O’s Notes: Saxophonist Adam Larson forms a trio with Clark Sommers (b) and Dana Hall (d) presenting his new album With Love From Chicago, a testimonial of the support of his music from the Windy City. The music is mostly original tunes composed by Sommers and Larson along with three covers, notably the sultry ballad, “Portrait of Jennie”. We also enjoyed “Tierney’s Song” and the blazing “Firestarter”.
