O’s Notes: The title Zambra stands for a gypsy celebration. Initially we weren’t too exited about listening to gypsy music but the presence of the popular guitar and violin duo peaked our curiosity. We’re glad we engaged. The sounds include some Mid Eastern/Indian and Caribbean influences. Several of the songs also include producer Rick Braun on his trumpet. Among the best of ten tracks are “La Fortuna”, “Veles Al Viento”, “Zambra” and “Mediterraneo”.
