O’s Notes: This set of ten songs features Randy alone on piano and with bassist Alex Blake and Neil Clarke (percussion). These are mostly Weston compositions and they have a little jazz, some healthy rhythms, a little blues and a lot of soul. We particularly liked “Berkshire Blues” and “Portrait of Frank Edward Weston”. At over 80 years old, Weston is still on top of his game.
