O’s Notes: 1705 is a trio featuring keyboardist and composer Zsolt Kaltenecker, bassist Béla Piri and András Dés on drums. The title track has a playful club electronic sound followed by the chimes of “Spring Dance” and the funky bounce of “Waiting For The Sun”. We don’t ordinarily appreciate high dose of electronic instrumentation but we really enjoyed “21” and the heavily syncopated “21” leading to our favorable overall impression of the set.
