O’s Notes: 12.12 is the latest release from flautist Neus Plana Turu. The music is refreshing with subtle Latin beats. Turu’s work on flute is excellent throughout the session. Bassist Pablo Donaire stands out with a lengthy solo on “La raó de ser” before opening “Vida”, and “Maig d’amor” (with Turu). Pianist Carles Font Turin and percussionist Antonio Parraguez Rodriguez round out the band.
