O’s Notes: Violinist, Jenny Scheinman has written 12 songs with varied character. The music is more contemporary classical than jazz but it is entertaining and full of subtleties. The soundstage is never cluttered with musical groupings ranging from duos to a septet. We found the titles of the songs to provide a very good description of the music. “Little Calypso”, “The Frog Threw His Head Back and Laughed” and “Antenna” are prime examples.
