O’s Notes: Sheila paints a mysterious shade of splendor over these ten romantic ballads. Pianist Fritz Pauer accompanies her. Cooper also compliments her vocals with on alto sax! Whether she’s singing or breathing warm notes through he sax, Sheila does well expressing the passion associated with these standards. The beauty of her expression is that she does both within their boundaries and at a high level.
