O’s Notes: Boots plays with a lot of heart and his emotion carries through his sax. This collection includes spiritual classics like “The Old Rugged Cross” and “What A Friend We Have In Jesus” (instrumental). The songs are suitable for any occasion and especially the Holidays. They put a relaxed southern twist on the music. Among the best are “America The Beautiful”, “Precious Lord, Take My Hand” featuring Roddy Smith on guitar and Boots’ jazzed up rendition of “Amazing Grace”.
