O’s Notes: Pianist Lafayette Harris, Jr. leads a core trio with Kenny Davis (b) and Jerome Jennings (d). They perform a bubbly session blending new Orleans jazz with a festive dose of the Caribbean. Special guests, trumpeter Jeremy Pelt and saxophonist Houston Person adds warmth on “Long Hot Summer Blues” and Pelt plays on two more tracks, notably “Time”. We also enjoyed the spirited “It’s Time” and “We Are One In The Spirit”. It’s All in Good Time.
