O’s Notes: Ron Oswanski plays the B3, piano and accordion. He leads a stellar team including bassist John Patitucci, unit artist John Abercrombie, Clarence Penn (d) and Tim Ries (sax). Together they cook up a pot of jazz-fusion. The songs are mostly Oswanski originals with one from Ries and a few covers. This is Ron’s debut as a leader and he is successful in recreating the traditional jazz organ-CD but sharing the stage for a balanced attack.
