O’s Notes: Tom started out playing the upright bass as a child then picked up the electric bass late in his teens but he’s more at home playing traditional jazz on the double bass. He teams up with a stellar core with Renee Rosnes (p), George Garzone (sax) and drummer Dave Weckl. Add guest artists Tim Hagens (t), John Allred (tb) and guitarists Mike Stern and Lee Ritenour to realize a dream band! They play to their potential and gel well as a team. These cats breathe new life into a solid set of standards.
